John Taylor Inducted Into the 2026 Lawdragon Hall of Fame

We’re proud to share that John Taylor earned a spot in the 2026 Lawdragon Hall of Fame! This is one of the legal profession’s most selective and meaningful honors, and we’re so thankful to start the year off with such great news.

Lawdragon’s Hall of Fame recognizes lawyers whose careers have shaped the law over decades, not just through verdicts or titles, but also through their sustained advocacy and impact. John’s selection reflects his years of work on complex sexual abuse cases, which influenced the way that these are tried and, more importantly, how victims’ voices are heard in court.

Over the course of his career, John has tried more than 140 cases to verdict across a wide range of matters, including sexual abuse, civil rights, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury. But what Lawdragon highlighted most clearly is what clients and colleagues have long known: John brings uncommon empathy to high-stakes litigation. His approach allowed him to build a practice centered on representing people who otherwise faced being ignored, doubted, or silenced before they walked into a courtroom.

John cofounded Taylor & Ring with that purpose in mind, helping to elevate survivor-centered advocacy in plaintiff litigation while maintaining a trial-first approach grounded in preparation and respect for the jury system. His work has led to significant recoveries for clients, but just as importantly, it helped move the law forward in cases where accountability once seemed unattainable.

Lawdragon reserves its Hall of Fame for lawyers whose careers will stand the “test of time.” John’s induction is a meaningful recognition of that legacy, and one we’re honored to celebrate! To learn more about Taylor & Ring and our work, get in touch with us online.
