Ava Hargett
LOCATION: Los Angeles, California
Ava represents personal injury victims, including victims of sexual abuse and misconduct. Prior to joining Taylor & Ring, Ava worked with Loyola Law School’s social justice clinics, where she gained experience in criminal law and developed strong skills related to client communication, motion practice, investigative review, and client-centered advocacy.
Ava received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in law & justice from Chapman University, earning both the Provost’s Scholarship and the Honors College Academic Achievement Award. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from LMU Loyola Law School. During law school, she worked as a student investigator for Loyola’s Project for the Innocent, where she was nominated as a Loyola Social Justice Law Clinic Outstanding Student. After law school, she was selected by the American Board of Trial Advocates to participate in the Hon. Victor E. Chavez Fellowship, where she gained valuable experience working with a defense firm, a plaintiff firm, and with the Honorable Wendy Chang at the Los Angeles Superior Court.
