Dave Ring Selected for Inclusion on Daily Journal’s Top 25 Plaintiff Lawyers List

Partner Dave Ring was selected for inclusion on Daily Journal’s Top 25 Plaintiff Lawyers list out of numerous attorneys practicing in California for his remarkable work in the personal injury practice area for advocating on behalf of children and adult victims of sexual abuse. Due to the nature of his cases, Mr. Ring has garnered national media coverage, from “48 Hours” to “The View” and “Katie Couric Show.”

“I think the media is incredibly powerful and can be incredibly helpful to a plaintiff’s case,” says Mr. Ring.

Vanity Fair named Mr. Ring as “California’s go-to attorney for sexual abuse victims,” in the lawsuit against Marlborough School, an elite all-girls private school in Los Angeles, and its former teacher Joseph Koetters. The lawsuit alleges Mr. Koetters had a sexual relationship with one of his students and impregnated her during her senior year.

For more than 20 years, Mr. Ring has given a voice to children and adults whose lives have been destroyed by sexual abuse or sexual misconduct. He has effectuated permanent change to ensure school districts, its administrators and perpetrators are held accountable for their actions, and as a result, school districts have implemented improved procedures and training programs to educate their staff on child abuse reporting laws.

Currently, Mr. Ring serves as President-Elect of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
