David Ring Named to Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Lawyers in America”
Partner David M. Ring is ranked this year among the nation’s 500 Leading Lawyers in America by Lawdragon, which recognizes him for his high-profile and precedent-setting sexual abuse cases. For more than 20 years, Ring has been a strong voice for sexual abuse victims, fighting to ensure that school districts, administrators and perpetrators are held fully responsible for their actions.
Last June, Ring represented two former Marlborough students who were sexually assaulted by their teacher Joseph Koetters. Koetters pled guilty to sexually molesting the students while they attended Marlborough in the early 2000s.
In another highly publicized matter, Ring filed a lawsuit against Downey Unified School District and former teacher Brandon Hitchcock for sexual abuse on behalf of a 16-year old plaintiff. The student was sexually assaulted by Hitchcock while attending Downey High School from 2013 to 2015.
