An award-winning attorney handling complex claims

Louanne Masry started her career in the law office of her late father, Ed Masry, a renowned attorney who gained national acclaim in the eye of the general public for a toxic tort case against Pacific Gas & Electric – a case which became the basis for the film Erin Brockovich. She joined Taylor & Ring in 2007, and has been one of the firm’s most prolific members, obtaining numerous multi-million dollars awards on behalf of her clients. A fierce litigator, Louanne has taken on some of the most high-profile and complex cases in our firm’s history, including an $8.8 million verdict in an excessive force case against the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. From toxic torts to product liability to sexual abuse, there is no case too large for Louanne to handle with mastery.

Louanne Masry is also an active member of multiple legal organizations and communities, including the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), the Consumer Attorneys Organization of California (CAOC), and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). She is also a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA).

Louanne has been selected for inclusion on the Southern California Super Lawyers list for the last eight consecutive years, and has been named to the Top 50 Women Southern California Super Lawyers List for 2015-2017. She was nominated by the CAOC Women’s Caucus as Trial Lawyer of the Year for 2012.

All of us are incredibly proud of the work that Louanne Masry has done. She certainly deserves her place on the panel, and we look forward to hearing her speak on the topic of empowerment for women in the legal field.
