Taylor & Ring Files Lawsuit on Behalf of Sexual Assault Victim, against High-Ranking Priest and the Diocese of Orange County
Taylor & Ring has filed a lawsuit against the Diocese of Orange County, Father Alex Kim, and St. John Neumann Church of Irvine, for sexual abuse and harassment. The lawsuit claims that the Diocese and the Church had been hearing accusations and complaints against Father Kim for years, yet they turned a blind eye to the abuse.
Father Kim was passed from post to post for years, the lawsuit claims, and even spent time in a “treatment center for sexually deviant Catholic clergy,” but to no avail. The priest repeatedly groped, fondled and exposed himself to our client. Partner David Ring is representing the client in her case against Father Kim, the Diocese of Orange, and St. John Neumann Church.
