Taylor & Ring’s Natalie Weatherford Named Law360 Rising Star

Taylor & Ring is excited and proud to announce that attorney Natalie Weatherford has been named to Law360’s Rising Stars for 2019, their list of 175 Attorneys Under 40 whose legal accomplishments transcend their age.

Natalie is one of only three personal injury attorneys named to this list, chosen from among 80 law firms and spanning nearly 40 practice areas. The winners were honored and selected based on their career achievements in their respective areas of law.

About Natalie Weatherford

With a focus on sexual harassment, assault, and misconduct cases, as well as catastrophic injury and civil rights, Natalie is a trial attorney who compassionately and tenaciously represents both children and adults – with a consistent record of multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.

Just a few of her notable and high profile cases include:

  • $25.3 million verdict on behalf of a client who was sexually abused over the course of four years at the Westerly School in Long Beach.
  • $14 million settlement in sexual abuse case against the Moraga School District on behalf of two adult females who were victimized by their middle school teacher in the 1990s. Each victim obtained $7 million – the largest amount “per victim” ever paid by any school district in any state.
  • $8.05 million verdict in a sexual abuse case, where a 14-year-old female student was manipulated into a sexual relationship with her eighth-grade teacher. The Pomona Unified School District was found liable for its negligent supervision of the student and the teacher.

Ms. Weatherford will add this latest award to her shelf, which already includes the Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars 2014 through 2018, among many others.
