Three Men Convicted to Decades in Prison in Nordstrom Rack Robbery Case

As published in KTLA, KABC, and Daily Breeze, on April 8, 2015, three men were convicted and sentenced to decades in prison in the 2013 Westchester Nordstrom Rack take-over robbery case.
During the takeover, Raymond Sherman, Jr., Troy Hammock and Everett Allen demanded 14 Nordstrom employees to strip down to their underwear as they robbed the store and assaulted employees. One victim was stabbed in the neck and another was brutally raped by Mr. Sherman.

One victim read her statement to the attackers stating, “I hate that you invaded, robbed and raped my body. I hate feeling worried every morning, noon and night. I hate the anger inside of me. I hate every inch of you. I hate that you threatened my life. I hate that you told lies about me. I hate that you don’t care about who I was.”

Mr. Sherman was sentenced to 200 years, Mr. Hammock was sentenced to 41 years and Mr. Allen was sentenced to 37 years.
